HSK 1 (汉语水平考试一级)

At HSK 1, you're able to:

  1. Understand and use simple set phrases about yourself, your family and your daily routine.
  2. Greet people, introduce yourself, and ask where someone is from and what they do.
  3. Get through a short everyday exchange, such as buying something or asking the time, when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

HSK 1 covers 500 words, 300 characters and 48 grammar points, counted from the start of the standard.
