HSK 2 (汉语水平考试二级)

At HSK 2, you're able to:

  1. Describe people, things and places in simple terms, and compare one with another.
  2. Talk about your family's daily life, your studies and your work.
  3. Address the people you meet the way Chinese speakers do, and talk about Chinese New Year and what is eaten at it.
  4. Write your name, age and birthday on a form, and note down simple times and places.

HSK 2 covers 500 words and 371 characters, counted from the start of the syllabus.
