Xiaomei’s mother was ill. On Saturday afternoon, Xiaomei and her younger brother drove to the hospital to visit her. They had bought her some fruit and milk.
As their mother ate an apple, she said, “The food here isn’t very good. All I do every day is eat, drink water and sleep. I don’t want to sleep anymore. I want to go home.” Xiaomei and her brother were delighted to hear her talking so much. It seemed their mother was feeling much better.
