    Easy to confuse with 汩

    • 泪 Similar shape

      Both have 氵 and a similar-looking right side. 汩 (gǔ) has 曰 and describes flowing water; 泪 (lèi) has 目 (eye) and means tears, as in 眼泪 (yǎnlèi).

    • 汨 Similar shape

      汩 (gǔ) has 曰 on the right and describes flowing water; 汨 (mì) has 日 and appears only in 汨罗江. The two look almost identical.
